The organizer describes an audience of 4,000+ retail and brand leaders from 50+ countries. The 2026 edition took place September 22–24, 2026, also at Mandalay Bay. This guide is updated for the 2027 edition.
Groceryshop 2027: Dates and Venue
- Dates: September 13–15, 2027
- Venue: Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas (south end of the Strip)
- Same venue, other retail event: Shoptalk Spring 2027 runs March 22–24, 2027 at Mandalay Bay
- Weather: mid-September is still hot in Las Vegas, so indoor connections to the convention center are worth a lot
Best Hotels for Groceryshop: On the Mandalay Bay Campus
Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino
The convention center is part of the resort, so you walk from your room to the sessions without going outside. It is the most convenient choice and usually the first to fill on show week. Check live rates rather than relying on old figures.
Delano Las Vegas
All-suite hotel connected to Mandalay Bay indoors. Larger rooms and a quieter atmosphere, a good fit for executives or small teams who need space to work in the evening.
Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas
Non-gaming luxury hotel inside the Mandalay Bay complex, with its own entrance and lobby. The calm option for senior attendees hosting clients during show week.
Best Value Nearby: Luxor and Excalibur
Luxor
Connected to Mandalay Bay indoors through the Mandalay Place shops, so the walk to the convention center stays air-conditioned. Usually much cheaper than staying on the Mandalay Bay campus.
Excalibur
One stop further on the free tram, and often among the lowest rates on this part of the Strip. Basic rooms, but an easy commute.
The free Mandalay Bay tram links Excalibur, Luxor and Mandalay Bay. Visit Las Vegas lists service from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on weekdays (11 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. on weekends), so for an early session you will walk: Luxor and Mandalay Bay are connected indoors through the Mandalay Place shops.
When to Book for Groceryshop 2027
Book as soon as your attendance is confirmed and choose a refundable rate, so you can adjust if your plans change. The Mandalay Bay campus hotels go first on show week; Luxor and Excalibur are the natural fallback. Compare the same hotel on several booking sites before you pay: the all-in price (resort fee and taxes included) can differ.
