G2E is the gaming industry’s main trade show, presented by the American Gaming Association. The organizer cites 25,000+ gaming professionals and 400+ exhibitors. The 2026 edition took place September 28 to October 1, 2026, also at The Venetian Expo. This guide is updated for 2027.

Best Hotels Near The Venetian Expo
The Venetian Resort and The Palazzo
Both towers are connected indoors to The Venetian Expo, so you go from your room to the show floor without going outside. The most convenient option, and usually the first to fill on a big show week.
Wynn and Encore
Just north of The Venetian, roughly a 10-minute walk. Upscale rooms and good restaurants for client dinners.
Treasure Island, Harrah’s and The LINQ
Across the Strip, reachable on foot over the pedestrian bridges. Often cheaper than The Venetian or Wynn, with a manageable walk to the Expo.
For any hotel further away, budget a rideshare each way and allow extra time on the first morning, when registration lines are longest.
Getting There From the Airport
Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is close to the city: count roughly 15 to 25 minutes by taxi or rideshare to The Venetian, longer at peak arrival times the day before the show. A pre-booked transfer avoids the rideshare queue after a long flight: book a private airport transfer. If you plan to visit clients off the Strip, compare car rental rates, but remember that most Strip hotels charge for parking.
When to Book
Book as soon as your trip is confirmed and choose a refundable rate, so you can adjust if plans change. The hotels closest to the venue go first on G2E week. Compare the same hotel on several booking sites before you pay: the all-in price (resort fee and taxes included) can differ.
