KBIS Las Vegas 2027 — What to Know
The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) is the largest trade show in North America dedicated to kitchen and bath design and products. Co-located with the International Builders Show (IBS) every January at the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall, KBIS draws over 50,000 combined attendees from the residential design and construction industries. The 2027 edition continues this partnership at the LVCC.
Because KBIS and IBS share the same January dates and the same venue, hotel planning for KBIS is subject to the same constraints as IBS — and potentially more severe. The January overlap with CES creates one of the tightest hotel markets of the entire Las Vegas trade show calendar. Booking 5-6 months in advance is not excessive for KBIS week.
Closest Hotels to the LVCC for KBIS
Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino is directly across the street from the LVCC — the single most convenient hotel for KBIS West Hall attendees. Design professionals attending KBIS often comment on the benefit of being able to return to the hotel during lunch breaks or between sessions without navigating traffic or rideshare queues.
Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel connects to the LVCC via skybridge and operates as a non-gaming, business-focused property. For interior designers, architects, and high-end kitchen and bath showroom professionals, the Renaissance’s quieter atmosphere is often preferred over the larger casino hotels. Its UPS store handles product sample shipping efficiently during and after the show.
Hampton Inn and Suites Las Vegas Convention Center is within walking distance of the LVCC and offered without resort fees — an advantage that makes its effective nightly rate more competitive than its listed price suggests. A practical choice for independent designers and smaller studio attendees on a tighter travel budget.
Strip Hotels for KBIS Week
The KBIS audience skews toward design and luxury, which makes the Wynn and Encore a natural fit for attendees who want Strip amenities alongside convention access. Resorts World Las Vegas provides a direct Vegas Loop tunnel connection to the LVCC West Hall during show hours — the most seamless Strip-to-convention access available in January.
For teams or studios booking multiple rooms, the Residence Inn Las Vegas Convention Center offers suite-format rooms with kitchens and sitting areas that work well as informal meeting spaces during KBIS week. Pricing is competitive relative to the Strip and proximity to the LVCC is excellent.
KBIS and IBS Combined Attendance — What It Means for Hotels
The Design and Construction Week (DCW) — the combined KBIS and IBS event — brings over 60,000 registered professionals to Las Vegas in a single week. Add CES overlap and total attendance in the Las Vegas area during this period can exceed 300,000 people. Rooms within 3 miles of the LVCC regularly sell out 4-5 months in advance. The further you wait, the further from the convention center you’ll end up.
