What makes it distinctive: The integration with the hotel is unusually tight. If you’re staying at The Venetian or Palazzo, you can walk from your room to the show floor without going outside. The meeting rooms, breakout spaces, and exhibit halls flow directly from the hotel lobby area. For attendees, this means less transit time and more time on the floor.

Location for attendees: The venue is on the Strip itself, which means dozens of hotels within walking distance. Unlike the LVCC — which requires a cab, rideshare, or the Vegas Loop to reach from most Strip hotels — the Venetian Expo is steps from a wide range of accommodation options at various price points.

Mandalay Bay Convention Center

At the south end of the Las Vegas Strip, Mandalay Bay operates a convention center with over 2 million square feet of space. It’s physically connected to the Mandalay Bay resort and shares the campus with the adjacent W Las Vegas (formerly Delano) and Four Seasons hotels.

What makes it distinctive: Mandalay Bay’s convention center is known for its flexibility. CAESARS FORUM

Opened in 2020, CAESARS FORUM is the newest major convention facility in Las Vegas. Located behind the Harrah’s and LINQ properties in the center of the Strip, it offers 550,000 square feet of dedicated meeting and convention space, including two pillarless ballrooms of about 110,000 square feet each — a significant practical advantage for show organizers.

Hotel strategy: If your show is at the Venetian Expo, staying at The Venetian or Palazzo gives you the closest possible access. If it’s at Mandalay Bay, the Mandalay Bay resort or the adjacent W Las Vegas are the obvious first choices. CAESARS FORUM opens up more options — the center-Strip hotel concentration means you have more flexibility.

Transport planning: The LVCC is the only major venue that’s genuinely off-Strip, which means you need to factor in transit time if you’re not staying at one of the five hotels connected by the Vegas Loop (Resorts World, Westgate, Encore, Fontainebleau, SAHARA). The Strip venues are all walkable from nearby hotels, though “walkable” in Las Vegas covers a wider range than most cities.
