MINExpo INTERNATIONAL is the world’s largest mining equipment and technology exhibition, organized by the National Mining Association (NMA). Because it runs on a four-year cycle, many attendees and exhibitors search for a 2026 edition that does not exist. The next show opens at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) on September 26, 2028 and runs through September 28, 2028. The 2024 edition drew more than 45,000 attendees and about 2,000 exhibitors from 148 countries, according to the NMA.

Closest hotels to the LVCC for MINExpo
MINExpo fills the LVCC halls and its outdoor exhibit areas, and heavy-equipment exhibitors arrive days before opening for move-in. The hotels within walking distance of the convention center are the first to sell out. Room blocks and rates for 2028 are not published yet; the options below are the ones we recommend for any large LVCC show.
- Westgate Las Vegas Resort — directly across from the LVCC campus, the closest full-service hotel to the show floor.
- Renaissance Las Vegas — business hotel a short walk from the convention center, quieter than the Strip resorts.
- Courtyard and Residence Inn Las Vegas Convention Center — practical options on Paradise Road for longer exhibitor stays.
- Wynn, Encore and Resorts World — the nearest Strip resorts, a short rideshare or Vegas Loop ride from the LVCC.
Planning tips for exhibitors and attendees
- Watch the official housing announcement. The NMA publishes registration and hotel information on the official MINExpo website ahead of the show. Official room blocks are usually the safest way to secure walkable hotels.
- Exhibitors: plan for move-in days. Heavy-equipment displays require setup well before opening day, so exhibitor teams often need rooms several nights before September 26.
- International attendees. With visitors from nearly 150 countries, check visa and travel requirements early. Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is a short ride from the LVCC.
