HR Technology Conference 2026 runs October 20-22 at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas. The organizers’ official housing vendor is Connections Housing, with Mandalay Bay, Luxor and W Hotel as the listed hotels and an extended reservation deadline of October 2. FABTECH overlaps on October 21-22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, so rooms across the city tighten that week.
HR Tech 2026 at a Glance
According to the organizers, HR Tech 2026 brings together more than 7,200 HR and business leaders, 400+ solution providers, 275+ speakers and 200+ sessions, all at Mandalay Bay from Tuesday October 20 to Thursday October 22, 2026. The expo is part of the same three days, with an exhibitor hub and floor plan published on the official site.
For attendees, the practical point is simple: the conference is held inside a resort. Where you sleep decides how much of the day you spend walking, queuing for elevators or riding to and from the Strip.
Official Housing: What the Organizers Say
The official HR Tech hotel page states that Connections Housing is the only approved housing vendor. The hotels listed are Mandalay Bay (the venue), Luxor and W Hotel. The page promises the lowest available rates while rooms last and gives an extended reservation deadline of October 2. The booking portal is the official Passkey page, and the phone line quoted is 1-702-675-6598 (9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern, Monday to Friday).
Deadlines and room availability change quickly. Treat this page as a map and the official page as the source of truth. We checked it on October 1, 2026.
Which Hotel Fits Which Attendee
Mandalay Bay: the venue itself. You walk from your room to the sessions, and you can drop your bags between meetings. It is the right choice if you speak, exhibit, or run back-to-back meetings.
Luxor: an official hotel next door. Mandalay Bay, Luxor and Excalibur are connected by a free tram, and an indoor walkway runs through Mandalay Place. Luxor is often the sensible second option when the venue rooms are gone, but check the walk from your specific room, because Luxor is a large property.
W Hotel: the third official hotel on the housing page. Confirm its exact location and the walking or ride time on the official page before you book, because we do not publish a distance we have not verified.
We do not publish nightly price ranges for HR Tech week, because rates move with demand and no official list covers the open market. Check the official rate first, then compare it with other rooms.
The FABTECH Overlap
FABTECH 2026 runs October 21-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, according to its official site, with more than 1,400 exhibitors. HR Tech runs October 20-22 at Mandalay Bay. The two shows share October 21 and 22, so two large audiences look for rooms on the same nights. If you attend HR Tech and your plans are not fixed, book a refundable room early. Our guide to FABTECH 2026 hotels near the LVCC covers the other side of that overlap.
Getting There and Parking
The official page puts Harry Reid International Airport less than 3 miles from Mandalay Bay. It lists parking at Mandalay Bay at $20 to $25 per day for self-parking and $35 to $40 per day for valet, so a rental car can add real cost to a three-day trip. If you stay at Mandalay Bay or Luxor and meet at the venue, you may not need one. For the wider picture on moving around trade-show Las Vegas, see our LVCC complete guide and the Las Vegas trade show calendar for the shows that overlap yours.
Booking Timeline
With the official deadline set for October 2, the order of priority is clear. First, check the official housing page for rooms at the three listed hotels. If you cannot get one, compare other south Strip rooms with free cancellation, and keep checking until your trip, because refundable rooms sometimes return to inventory. Do not book through unofficial housing callers who contact exhibitors and attendees. The organizers warn against them.
If the official rooms are gone, compare Las Vegas hotels with flexible cancellation and re-check closer to the dates. This is an affiliate link: we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
