NMHC Annual Meeting 2027 Hotels: ARIA, Vdara, Park MGM and Nearby (Jan 26–28)

NMHC 2027: dates, venue and who can attend

The National Multifamily Housing Council holds its Annual Meeting at ARIA in Las Vegas. For 2027, NMHC’s official housing site lists the 2027 NMHC Annual Meeting and Apartment Strategies Conference, January 26–28, 2027, at ARIA Resort & Casino, where the sessions are held.

Access depends on your badge, and so does your hotel:

• Annual Meeting: NMHC members only, in good standing from registration through the meeting.
• Apartment Strategies Conference: open to members and non-members, with its own registration.
• Networking Pass: holders can request an off-site hotel after registering in December. NMHC says ARIA requests from this group will not be confirmed.

The official NMHC hotel block

NMHC books its block through the housing company Staged Right Events. Three MGM properties are in it, all within a short walk of each other:

All three rates are single or double occupancy and add a $39 daily resort fee and 13.38% tax. Read the Park MGM line carefully: its “from $169” applies only to the night of January 28. On the core meeting nights it is $255, so compare it with live prices before you lock it in.

How to book a room in the block

1. Register for the meeting first. The room request needs your registration.
2. Submit the room request through NMHC’s housing site (nmhcannualmeeting.sre.events), not by calling the hotel.
3. Expect a confirmation within up to 14 business days.
4. The deposit is two nights’ room rate plus taxes, charged to your card.

Who actually gets ARIA

NMHC gives ARIA priority to Annual Meeting registrants. If you registered only for the Apartment Strategies Conference and ask for ARIA, you may be moved to an off-site hotel if demand exceeds rooms. Networking Pass holders are off-site by rule. NMHC also recommended submitting firm requests before July 31 because rooms and suites sell out early, so if you are registering now, plan for Vdara, Park MGM or a hotel outside the block.

Suites follow their own process: a regular room request first, then a sponsor suite request form, with no guarantee. Executive Hospitality Suites are offered only to 2027 Chair’s Circle sponsors, by lottery.

Staying outside the block: hotels near ARIA

ARIA sits in the middle of the Strip, inside the CityCenter complex. That is good news if the block is closed for you, because several large hotels are close by, and a free tram links some of them.

• The Cosmopolitan is on the Strip next to CityCenter, just south of Bellagio.
• Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas is on the Strip side of CityCenter. The tram’s CityCenter station, above The Shops at Crystals, serves it.
• Bellagio is to the north. Its tram station also serves Vdara.
• Park MGM is to the south and has its own tram station, which also serves ARIA.

The tram is the ARIA Express, which links Park MGM, CityCenter and Bellagio. It is free to ride. Published hours are daily from 8:00 AM to 2:00 AM, but check on site, as MGM can change service.

Map apps measure to the building, not to your session room. ARIA is a large resort, so build in extra time on the first morning.

Which nights to book

The block rates run from Saturday, January 23 to the night of Thursday, January 28. Most attendees will need the nights of January 25, 26 and 27, with an arrival on Monday the 25th. Come in earlier if your firm has meetings before the official program. If you leave on the 28th after the last session, you may not need that night at all.
