1. The Venetian Resort Las Vegas
Distance from JCK: Connected directly — the Venetian Expo is part of the resort complex. Best for: Convenience above all — you walk to the show floor. Booking: Check rates | Hotels.com
2. Wynn Las Vegas
Distance from JCK: 5-minute walk across the Strip. Best for: High-end clients and buyers in the luxury jewelry segment — the Wynn matches the aesthetic of the show. Booking: Check Expedia for rates
3. Encore at Wynn Las Vegas
Distance from JCK: 8-minute walk. Best for: Slightly lower rates than Wynn proper, same luxury experience. Book early — JCK week fills both properties fast.
4. The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort
Distance from JCK: Directly connected. Best for: All-suite rooms at slightly lower rates than The Venetian — excellent option for buyers spending multiple days at the show. Booking: Check Vrbo for extended stay options
JCK Registration and Badges
JCK is a trade-only show — the general public cannot attend. Registration requirements vary by role:
- Retailers/buyers: Proof of business required (business license, resale certificate)
- Designers/manufacturers: Exhibitor registration handled separately
- Press: Media credential application required in advance
- Online registration: Available on the official JCK website — register early to avoid same-day queues
Hotels on the Official JCK Shuttle Routes
In 2026, JCK ran two official shuttle routes every 10–15 minutes between partner hotels and The Venetian Expo. 2027 routes and partner hotels are confirmed closer to the show, so check the official JCK site before booking around a shuttle stop. If your hotel is on one of these routes, you skip the rideshare uncertainty during peak show hours and save 20–30 minutes daily.
Route 1 — Resorts World & Fontainebleau Las Vegas
The north-Strip route picks up at Resorts World and Fontainebleau Las Vegas — both newer, business-traveler-friendly properties with secure rooms and 24-hour business centers. Best for designers and manufacturers carrying samples: both properties have in-room safes large enough for tablets and small jewelry cases. Fontainebleau in particular offers premium concierge service for high-value travelers.
Route 2 — The Bellagio
The Bellagio route is the classic JCK choice: walking distance to the Strip’s premium dining (Picasso, Lago, Prime Steakhouse) makes it ideal for retailer dinners with vendors. The hotel offers an on-site jewelry security deposit service available to JCK attendees, plus a private exit accessible after evening events at the Couture or Luxury programs.
Airport shuttle: In 2026, JCK ran a free closing-day shuttle from the Venetian Expo to Harry Reid International Airport (12:00–4:30 PM, every 30 minutes); watch for the 2027 schedule. If you’re departing on closing day (Monday, June 7), factor this in — it removes Uber surcharge during convention departure rush.
Getting Around During JCK
- On foot: If you’re staying at the Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn or Encore — no transport needed
- Rideshare: Uber/Lyft from mid-Strip hotels — budget 15 minutes each way during peak hours
- Monorail: The Las Vegas Monorail stops at the Convention Center and Harrah’s/The LINQ — not ideal for the Venetian Expo but useful for Strip navigation
Tips for JCK Attendees
- Book hotel and flights 6+ months out — June is peak Las Vegas season on top of the show premium
- The Couture show runs alongside JCK and focuses on fine jewelry designers — worth attending if you’re in the luxury segment
- Bring comfortable shoes — the Venetian Expo is large and you’ll cover significant ground across multiple halls
- Evening events are common during JCK week — check exhibitor invitations in advance

Match Your Hotel to Your JCK Mission
JCK draws four distinct attendee profiles — retailers, designers, manufacturers, and Luxury invite-only buyers — and each profile has different hotel priorities. Pick yours:
Retailer Buyers → Strip-Central with Vendor Dinners in Mind
Retailers spend evenings at vendor-hosted dinners across the Strip. The Venetian, The Palazzo, or Wynn place you within walking distance of the most-requested dinner spots (Carbone, Costa di Mare, Estiatorio Milos). Vendors often book group reservations near these hotels — staying close means you can attend 2–3 evening events per night instead of one.
Designers & Manufacturers → Secure Rooms with Workspace
If you’re presenting collections to buyers, you need a quiet workspace and a secure room with in-room safes for samples. Conrad Las Vegas, Fontainebleau, or The Venetian Suites all offer larger workspace areas and high-end security. Avoid economy hotels for this profile — sample security is non-negotiable.
Luxury Invite-Only Attendees → Premium Service & Discretion
JCK’s Luxury program (invitation-only days June 2–3, 2027) caters to the highest-end jewelers. Match the audience: Wynn Tower Suites, Trump International (non-gaming property), or the Four Seasons for executive amenities, private entrances, and the kind of concierge service that handles restaurant reservations 3 weeks out — essential during convention week when walk-in dining vanishes.
Couture Jewelry Show: JCK’s Luxury Companion
Running concurrently with JCK at the Wynn Las Vegas, the Couture show focuses exclusively on fine jewelry designers — designer-makers rather than the volume manufacturers you’ll find on the main JCK floor. If your business is in the high-end, independent designer segment, Couture is arguably more valuable than JCK itself. Note: COUTURE is a separate show run by Emerald, with its own RSVP and buyer qualifications — your JCK badge does not cover it. COUTURE 2027 runs June 2–6 at Wynn Las Vegas.
Planning your Couture week? See our dedicated COUTURE hotel guide for Wynn and Encore tower comparisons, late-booker Vrbo strategy, and the Time to Watches Las Vegas overlap.
Hosting buyers who play golf? Las Vegas is one of the top three desert golf destinations in the US, with TPC Las Vegas, Bali Hai (on Strip), and the invite-only Shadow Creek all bookable for JCK-week corporate outings. See our complete Las Vegas Golf Guide for Trade Show Attendees for booking strategy, distance times from Mandalay Bay/Venetian Expo, and the 2026 golf event calendar.
What JCK 2026 Introduced — and What to Watch for 2027
JCK 2026 ran under the theme “In Your Element” and drew 17,500 attendees, according to organizer RX. Three additions from that edition are worth knowing before you plan 2027:
- Lifestyle Pavilion — launched in 2026, a curated section bridging fine jewelry with lifestyle products and accessories. Useful if you are expanding beyond traditional fine jewelry.
- Timepieces at Luxury and JCK — an expanded watch presence, both in the invitation-only Luxury program and on the main JCK floor.
- JCK PRO upgrade — in 2026, a paid all-access option with perks such as dedicated registration lines, lounge access and session recordings. Check the 2027 package before buying.
As of September 2026, the 2027 theme, pavilion changes and JCK Talks lineup have not been announced. For the latest schedule and exhibitor directory, see the official site: lasvegas.jckonline.com.

Bringing a Retail Team or Design Studio to JCK?
Independent retailers and design studios attending JCK in groups of 3–5 save 30–50% with a 2-bedroom Vrbo apartment vs separate hotel rooms plus a shared workspace to review sourcing decisions together each evening.
JCK 2027: What to Expect on the Show Floor
JCK is divided into multiple pavilions across the Venetian Expo:
- JCK Pavilions — the main show floor with gemstones, finished jewelry, watches, and tools
- Luxury Pavilion — higher-end brands with appointment-only booths
- Technology Zone — CAD/CAM, lab-grown diamonds, blockchain certification, and jewelry tech
- COUTURE — separate show at Wynn Las Vegas (June 2–6, 2027), designer fine jewelry, own RSVP required
Tips for First-Time JCK Attendees
- Book appointments in advance — the Luxury Pavilion and major exhibitors operate by appointment. Email vendors you want to see before the show; walk-up access to premium booths is limited.
- Wear comfortable shoes — the Venetian Expo is large and you’ll cover significant ground. Foot pain is the #1 complaint among first-time JCK attendees.
- June is peak Las Vegas summer — temperatures outside can reach 40°C+. Plan any outdoor time for early morning or evening. The Venetian complex is fully air-conditioned.
- Budget for evening events — JCK week has extensive evening programming. Keep at least 2-3 evenings free and be selective; trying to attend everything is exhausting.
- Security is strict — the jewelry industry takes security seriously. Expect bag checks and ID verification at entry. Carry your badge at all times on the show floor.

For Swiss & European Watch Industry Attendees
JCK has long been a key destination for buyers and brand representatives from the Swiss and broader European watch industry. If you’re flying in from Switzerland or another European watch market, a few practical notes will make the trip smoother.
Getting there from Switzerland
There are no direct flights between Switzerland and Las Vegas. The most efficient routes typically connect through Frankfurt, Zurich, or major US hubs (London Heathrow, Newark, San Francisco). SWISS Airways, Edelweiss (seasonal), Lufthansa Group, and United Airlines via Star Alliance offer the most consistent connections. Allow 13–16 hours total travel time including layover.
Customs & sample logistics
If you’re bringing watch samples, prototypes, or display pieces into the United States for temporary trade show use, an ATA Carnet is the standard solution. Issued by the Swiss Chamber of Commerce, the carnet allows you to import goods temporarily without paying US duties or import taxes — provided everything you bring in is taken back out at the end of the trip. Failure to use a carnet for high-value samples can lead to significant US customs duties or delays at entry.
Hotel zone for JCK at The Venetian
JCK Las Vegas takes place at The Venetian Convention and Expo Center. The same hotel selection logic applies as for any Venetian-based show: prioritize on-site (Venetian/Palazzo) for zero commute, or mid-Strip walking-distance options for shorter daily transit. See our complete Las Vegas hotel guide for full property breakdowns.
Budget reference for Swiss attendees
All hotel prices on US booking platforms are displayed in USD. As a rough reference for budgeting, the CHF/USD rate has historically fluctuated around 0.85–0.95 (1 CHF ≈ 1.05–1.18 USD). Check current rates at booking time. Most major Swiss-issued credit cards work without issue at Strip properties; a no-foreign-transaction-fee card is the most economical option for incidental spend.
Trade calendar context
JCK Las Vegas (held in late May / early June each year) typically falls about two months after Watches & Wonders Geneva (the major Swiss watch trade event in spring). For Swiss watch industry professionals, the two events serve different markets — Watches & Wonders is primarily a press and prestige showcase, while JCK is where US distribution deals get done. Attending both back-to-back is a common workflow for European brands targeting the American market.
JCK 2027 Frequently Asked Questions
When should I book my hotel for JCK 2027?
Book at least 3-4 months ahead. Hotels on the official shuttle routes (Resorts World, Fontainebleau, Bellagio) sell out fastest, and show-week rates run 2x standard Vegas pricing. Luxury attendees should anchor their stay from June 2.
What is the best hotel for JCK attendees?
The Venetian and The Palazzo are directly connected to the Venetian Expo. For retailers prioritizing vendor dinners, The Venetian, Palazzo, or Wynn place you in the densest evening dining zone. Luxury attendees match Wynn Tower Suites, Trump International, or Four Seasons.

Official housing block or book it yourself?
Most Las Vegas shows contract a housing provider and publish an official hotel block. Booking inside it is not automatically cheaper, and booking outside it is not the same thing as the “housing poacher” warnings you will see on the show website — those refer to unsolicited callers demanding card details, not to you booking a hotel yourself.
The block tends to win during peak citywide weeks, for groups of roughly ten rooms or more, and whenever the organizer attaches shuttle access or a price-match guarantee to it. Booking independently tends to win for longer exhibitor stays covering setup and teardown nights, when the hotel closest to your hall is not in the block, and when elite loyalty benefits outweigh the rate gap.
Compare all-in totals, not headline rates. Las Vegas resort fees run roughly $44 to $57 per night at Strip casino-hotels (Las Vegas Review-Journal survey), before Nevada’s 13.38% lodging tax, which adds about $250 to $325 to a five-night stay, per room. That figure regularly reverses a comparison made on nightly rate alone. Several convention-corridor business hotels charge no resort fee at all.
Exhibitor teams contracting ten rooms or more should request the resort fee waiver in writing, at contract stage. It is negotiable before you sign and effectively impossible to obtain afterwards.
Full detail: official block vs independent booking and resort fees and waivers for trade show attendees.
JCK Las Vegas: Practical Information
- Getting there: Fly into Harry Reid International Airport. The Venetian is a short drive from the airport by taxi or rideshare. Taxis charge a flat zone fare, while rideshare prices change with demand, so check the app when you land. See our airport transport guide for all options.
- Getting around the show: The Venetian Expo is large — wear comfortable shoes. Bring a rolling bag or tote for catalogues and samples, not a backpack (gets heavy fast).
- Currency: All transactions are in US dollars. Credit cards accepted everywhere; cash useful for small purchases in vendor booths.
- Time zone: Las Vegas is Pacific Time (UTC-7 in summer, UTC-8 in winter). June show means Pacific Daylight Time.

How We Research and Verify This Guide
LasVegasTrade.com is an independent resource. We are not owned by any hotel, casino, or booking platform, and no venue pays to be featured.
Show details. Dates, venues, and hours are verified against each event’s official website before publication, never copied from other blogs. When a detail can change, such as pricing, we say so and point to the official source.
Hotel rates. We run LVT Price Watch, our own tracker that records real advertised nightly rates from major booking platforms twice a week ahead of each major Las Vegas convention. This lets us show how prices actually move as a show approaches, instead of repeating generic estimates.
Distances and logistics. Walk times to the LVCC, Venetian Expo, and Mandalay Bay, plus Monorail and Vegas Loop access, are checked against mapping tools and official venue information.
How we make money. Some links on this page are affiliate links. If you book through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes which hotels we recommend or the rate you pay. Our picks are based on location, value, and suitability for trade show attendees.
