World of Concrete 2027: January 19–21 — exhibits run January 19–21, 2027, with education sessions January 18–21, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Note the overlap with SHOT Show (January 19–22 at Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum): mid-January is one of the tightest hotel weeks of the year in Las Vegas.
World of Concrete specifics: World of Concrete (WOC) takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center each January, drawing 47,400+ registered construction professionals (2026) and 1,500+ exhibitors across concrete, masonry, and construction equipment. January is one of Las Vegas’s quietest hotel months — room rates near the LVCC are significantly lower than during CES or CONEXPO, making it easier to secure rooms within walking distance of the show.
World of Concrete is the largest annual international tradeshow dedicated to the concrete and masonry construction industries, drawing 47,400+ registered concrete professionals (2026), contractors, and equipment vendors to the Las Vegas Convention Center every January. Held just before or overlapping with SHOT Show, World of Concrete makes January one of the most hotel-competitive months in Las Vegas.
Where Is World of Concrete Held?

Best Hotels for World of Concrete
1. Renaissance Las Vegas — 5-Minute Walk, Non-Gaming
The Renaissance is a 5-minute walk from the LVCC’s Paradise Road entrances, which makes it a top choice for World of Concrete. If you want an indoor connection for cold January mornings (40–50°F), the Westgate’s covered skywalk into the North Hall is the only one. It also sells out first — book as soon as the official WOC hotel block opens. Rates: Check live rates.
2. Westgate Las Vegas — Best Value, Steps from LVCC
Directly opposite the LVCC main entrance. The Westgate’s large parking structure and practical layout suit the World of Concrete crowd well — many attendees drive rather than fly, making parking access a real consideration. Check live rates.
3. Las Vegas Marriott — Solid Mid-Range Choice
Consistent quality near the LVCC with Marriott Bonvoy points. Good for contractors and project managers on corporate accounts who value predictable service and loyalty program benefits. Check live rates.
January Overlap: World of Concrete + SHOT Show
World of Concrete and SHOT Show sometimes overlap or run consecutive weeks in January, along with CES in the first week. This makes January hotel availability in Las Vegas extremely tight. If you’re attending World of Concrete, book the moment registration opens — typically 4–6 months before the show.

World of Concrete runs January 19–21, 2027 at the Las Vegas Convention Center — the same days as SHOT Show (January 19–22 at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum), just two weeks after CES clears out. Three major shows inside one January means LVCC-area rooms are gone months ahead. Your call is simple: do you want to walk to the concrete halls, or are you willing to trade a short ride for a lower rate and easier parking?
Walk to the floor
The Renaissance and Westgate sit right at the LVCC. The Westgate’s covered skywalk matters in January, when Vegas mornings run 40–50°F. These sell out first — book the moment the official block opens.
Drive-in value
Many WOC attendees drive rather than fly (heavy equipment, regional contractors). Hotels with real parking and a 5–10 minute approach trade walking distance for a better nightly rate and no garage hunt.
Book 4–6 months out: with SHOT overlapping the exact same days, the usual January rate dip never arrives for the LVCC corridor. Waiting costs the room, not just the rate.
Which hall are you in? Pick your hotel accordingly
The LVCC campus is large enough that “near the convention center” is not precise enough to book on. World of Concrete 2027 occupies the North, Central and South Halls, plus the Silver and Bronze outdoor lots, and the walk between the far ends of the campus is roughly 15 minutes above ground.
- West Hall — Westgate Las Vegas sits adjacent, connected by a pedestrian walkway, and has its own Monorail station. Resorts World is about 0.8 miles but connects via the Vegas Loop in minutes.
- Central Hall — the Renaissance Las Vegas is directly across Paradise Road; the Courtyard and the Paradise Road business-hotel cluster are a short walk. The Grand Plaza Loop station serves Central and North.
- North Hall — Westgate is roughly a five-minute walk; the Grand Plaza Loop station is the fastest campus connection.
- South Hall — the Las Vegas Monorail stops here, which makes mid-Strip properties (Harrah’s, The LINQ, Flamingo, MGM Grand) more practical than their map distance suggests.
The Vegas Loop changes the maths. The free underground Tesla shuttle links the halls — West Hall to Central takes about two minutes versus a fifteen-minute walk — and is included with your show badge on event days. A hotel near the “wrong” hall matters far less than it used to, provided you are on the Loop network.

World of Concrete Innovative Product Awards
One of the most-watched moments of World of Concrete is the Most Innovative Products (MIP) Awards, where manufacturers and suppliers compete for industry recognition across categories like concrete equipment, hand and power tools, safety gear, software, and decorative products. Winners are announced live on the show floor each January, and the recognition routinely drives major coverage across construction trade media.
For exhibitors, an MIP win is a marketing milestone worth building your booth schedule around. For attendees and buyers, the awards are the fastest way to spot the most significant new products of the year before walking the 750,000+ square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibits. If you are exhibiting and competing for an award, factor in extra time around the announcement for press and networking — and book a hotel within walking distance of the LVCC so you are not stuck commuting during your busiest days.

How We Research and Verify This Guide
LasVegasTrade.com is an independent resource. We are not owned by any hotel, casino, or booking platform, and no venue pays to be featured.
Show details. Dates, venues, and hours are verified against each event’s official website before publication, never copied from other blogs. When a detail can change, such as pricing, we say so and point to the official source.
Hotel rates. We run LVT Price Watch, our own tracker that records real advertised nightly rates from major booking platforms twice a week ahead of each major Las Vegas convention. This lets us show how prices actually move as a show approaches, instead of repeating generic estimates.
Distances and logistics. Walk times to the LVCC, Venetian Expo, and Mandalay Bay, plus Monorail and Vegas Loop access, are checked against mapping tools and official venue information.
How we make money. Some links on this page are affiliate links. If you book through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes which hotels we recommend or the rate you pay. Our picks are based on location, value, and suitability for trade show attendees.
