Updated July 2026 — AWS re:Inforce has merged into re:Invent
AWS confirmed there is no standalone re:Inforce event in 2026; the Philadelphia edition has been retired. Security programming now runs inside re:Invent, with a dedicated security day on Thursday, December 3. If you previously attended re:Inforce, Las Vegas in December is now your event.
AWS re:Invent 2026 is Amazon’s annual cloud computing conference — the largest tech event in Las Vegas with 60,000+ developers, architects, and CTOs. Held every December at The Venetian, it sells out hotels citywide. Plan ahead.
Quick answer: AWS re:Invent 2026 runs November 30 to December 4 across five Strip venues — the Venetian Expo (main hub), Caesars Forum, MGM Grand, Wynn and Mandalay Bay. Because sessions spread over a mile of Strip, a central mid-Strip hotel near the Venetian or on the Monorail beats a far property. Rates run 3–4× normal that week, so book 8–12 weeks out. Free AWS shuttles link all venues.
AWS re:Invent by the Numbers
Figures for the 2026 edition, Amazon Web Services’ flagship cloud conference.
The world’s largest cloud computing event, drawing architects, DevOps engineers, CTOs and CISOs. New for 2026, AWS re:Inforce’s security programming folds into the main event.
The five-venue problem: pick your hotel for the campus, not one hall
re:Invent is not held in one building. Sessions run across the Venetian, Caesars Forum, MGM Grand, Wynn and Mandalay Bay — more than a mile of Strip. Attendees who book next to a single venue often find half their sessions are elsewhere. The smarter base is a central mid-Strip property on or near the Monorail, so no single venue is far and the free AWS shuttles fill the gaps. Rates run 3–4× normal that week, and re:Invent lands right after the SEMA/AAPEX and F1 stretch, so December Strip inventory is already tight. The room is the one line you fully control; locking a 30-day-tracked rate 8–12 weeks out is the biggest saving on a re:Invent week.

How We Research and Verify This Guide
LasVegasTrade.com is an independent resource. We are not owned by any hotel, casino, or booking platform, and no venue pays to be featured.
Show details. Dates, venues, and hours are verified against each event’s official website before publication, never copied from other blogs. When a detail can change, such as pricing, we say so and point to the official source.
Hotel rates. We run LVT Price Watch, our own tracker that records real advertised nightly rates from major booking platforms twice a week ahead of each major Las Vegas convention. This lets us show how prices actually move as a show approaches, instead of repeating generic estimates.
Distances and logistics. Walk times to the LVCC, Venetian Expo, and Mandalay Bay, plus Monorail and Vegas Loop access, are checked against mapping tools and official venue information.
How we make money. Some links on this page are affiliate links. If you book through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes which hotels we recommend or the rate you pay. Our picks are based on location, value, and suitability for trade show attendees.
