LVT Price Watch weekly report · Reading of Thursday, October 22, 2026 · Next reading Monday, October 26.
This week in one line
AWS re:Invent is the only Las Vegas show week getting more expensive: +36% on the same 11 hotels since September 27. CES is exactly flat, SEMA slightly cheaper, and World of Concrete keeps falling (-18%). Our no-show reference week barely moved (-1.2%).
Twice a week, LVT Price Watch records the hotel prices Google Hotels shows travelers for the biggest Las Vegas trade show weeks, all-in, with taxes and resort fees included. Every figure below compares the same hotels on September 27 and on October 22, 2026, so a change in the hotel list cannot distort the average.

What moved this week
AWS re:Invent is climbing, and fast. The same-hotel average was +17% on Monday and +36% on Thursday. It is a broad move: 8 of the 11 hotels rose, from Planet Hollywood ($240 to $366 a night) and Flamingo ($118 to $259) to Mandalay Bay ($172 to $245) and Luxor ($78 to $118). Hotel by hotel in our AWS re:Invent hotel prices report.
CES has not moved at all. 76 days before the show, the same 15 hotels average $152 a night, exactly what they cost in late September. CES week is expensive, but not getting more expensive yet. Details in our CES 2027 hotel prices report.
Same week, opposite directions. SHOT Show and World of Concrete both fall in the third week of January 2027, but on different sets of hotels. SHOT Show hotels are up 3% and remain the most expensive we track ($275 a night). World of Concrete hotels, mostly around the convention center, are down about 18%.
SEMA is slightly cheaper with 11 days to go (-2%), and F1 is up a modest 4%. Not every big show pushes prices up before it opens.
What it means if you are booking
If you attend AWS re:Invent and have not booked, prices are moving against you now. For CES, World of Concrete and SEMA, there is no rush premium yet: a refundable rate locks a price while you keep watching. How to read these numbers
We compare 11 to 16 hotels per show week, not the whole city, and we see prices, not how many rooms are left. One reading is not a trend: we only call a move when it holds over several readings, as AWS now has. Full method and limits on our compression index page.
